Sean Ganley

I’m a partner in the firm’s New Ventures practice group. I focus on representing entrepreneurs, emerging companies, angel investors and venture capital firms. I typically advise company-side clients from formation through funding to exit, and have extensive experience in complex, venture-style corporate finance matters, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate organization and governance matters.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, I was vice president and general counsel of an M&A consulting firm that specializes in preparing companies for and leading them through their exit transactions. Before that, I practiced law at another firm in Cleveland.

Cleveland born and raised, I graduated from John Carroll University in 2004 (B.A.) and 2006 (M.B.A.) and Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2009 (J.D.). I love Ohio and working with companies looking to put the area on the map. I’m also a diehard Browns, Indians and Cavs fan!
