Daniel M. Criswell

I am an associate in the firm’s New Ventures group. I focus on representing and advising entrepreneurs and emerging companies from formation through funding to exit. In short, I help individuals bring their ideas to life! Prior to joining Thompson Hine, I represented commercial lenders, private equity funds, and public and private companies in domestic and cross-border commercial lending transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

Outside of the office, I enjoy golfing, rock climbing and cheering on my hometown Browns, Guardians and Cavaliers. I also love to travel, and as a firm believer in accomplishing big dreams, you can often find me planning my next trip as I work my way toward visiting every country in the world – 22 and counting!
