I’m an associate in the firm’s New Ventures practice group, with experience advising entrepreneurs and small business owners regarding entity formation, structure, governance, and financing. I’ve represented clients across a variety of industries, such as food and beverage, health care, media and technology, retail and nonprofit.
I also advise clients on intellectual property development and security, including copyright and trademark registration, trademark prosecution, licensing, purchasing, transfers and commercialization.
While I’m passionate about working with all types of entrepreneurs, I am particularly passionate about working with women-, minority- and Veteran-owned businesses. I assist those business with seeking certification at the local, state and national levels by providing support during the application process.
Prior to joining Thompson Hine, I practiced at another law firm in Columbus, Ohio. Before entering the legal profession, I served in the United States Army as an officer in the Military Police Corps.
In what little free time I have, I enjoy spending time with my family, amassing useless knowledge, and playing music.
